Being involved in your community is as important as being involved in your child's education.
Issues concerning safety, property values, home maintenance, neighbors, city and county service, and voting all factor into coming home to a place you can enjoy.
But, what happens when community pride is no longer the a priority? What message are we sending our youth?
Take a moment and look around. What areas can be improved in your community? Have you encouraged your neighbors to get involved? Are you setting a good example for the next generation?
